CUB!!! IN A MOVIE!!!!
Cub fans,
movie fans, Michigan fans—unite: “Wayne County Ramblin’”
has it all…
In 1998,
independent filmmaker Dan Rose approached Cub about using his song “Love
is a Damn Good Feeling”
in a movie he was shooting in southeast Michigan. Cub said he’d love
to be involved—and not only would he be happy to have his song in the
movie, he wouldn't mind playing a bit part himself! As it happened,
there was a part still uncast so Cub ended up playing a thief.
The
movie premiere in New Orleans on Saturday, July 16th 2005! was a great success!!
